About two weeks ago my PC, which had been running for over two years, suddenly stopped working properly, especially when playing games. It would go completely black with no response, though the lights stayed on and sometimes I could still hear audio like Discord for a short time. To get it back up, I had to turn off and then turn the power supply switch on and off. The temperatures were always normal. This machine has been great for years, but now it seems it’s failing without any clear reason. Some games are fine, but this issue started with Crusader Kings 3. After changing the drive and adjusting settings, it worked again, but now it keeps happening with Dead by Daylight, Battlefield 2042, Battlefield 1 and other titles. There were no BSODs.

Do you have the newest drivers installed for your GPU? Execute a benchmark tester and observe the results.

It's simple to implement anti-cheat, I found another post about someone having the same issue and EAC was the main point. I use the EAC program while playing the games and instantly, no problems.
