You need to clear the CMOS settings on your motherboard before installing the PCIe to NVMe adapter. Use a jumper or a tool to reset the CMOS battery or follow the manufacturer's instructions.

It's better to keep it at 1.5 or lower. Using the curve optimizer in BIOS is safer and more effective. Consider adding around +5 or +10 ticks across all cores.

You shouldn't proceed that far yet; just press ESC to open BIOS ("UEFI Firmware settings"). Typically you boot the PC, hold Del and F2 until prompted, and then see the BIOS interface. There you can adjust the voltage settings.
