PC experiences WHEA 19 errors intermittently every few seconds.
Pc has been experiencing random stutters and lag spikes for some time, especially in games and on the desktop. It would run smoothly for about ten seconds before suddenly slowing down into a slide show effect, then restarting again. Recently I discovered the Event Viewer logs and noticed around 2000 WHEA 19 errors each day, which I believe points to a CPU problem. I searched for ways to overclock the CPU, RAM, or GPU but found nothing. I replaced my current RAM with older models, tried three different RAM speeds, and haven’t updated the GPU or BIOS yet—I’m unsure how to back up files before updating. I’m worried about losing important data if something goes wrong. My PC has a 4070 Super Ryzen 7 5800X with 32GB DDR4 (16GB HyperX + 16GB HyperFury), an RTX 3060 (pre-built card), three NVMe drives, and two USB 3.0 ports. I’m still unsure whether to try a professional repair shop or explore other fixes. If switching to the older GPU resolves the issue, do I need to purchase my current one again, or are there ways to stabilize it? Can I keep using the PC as-is with these errors, or is it risky and could cause more damage? I’ve been dealing with this for nearly a year and a half without a clear solution.
You didn't activate XMP (DOCP), as they're incompatible. Set the RAM to auto.
I begin with resetting the CMOS, updating the BIOS if necessary, and reinstalling Windows. I’ll use just two RAM sticks, skipping XMP/EXPO and OC settings. If WHEA 19 errors continue, it likely points to a CPU issue that might resolve with adjusting the SoC voltage. Your multiple drives could be causing stutters or lagging (though not WHEA errors). The third NVMe slot isn’t standard on AM4 boards, which typically have only two slots.
Here are four notable WHEA events to note:
1. Annual WHEA conference in Paris
2. Regional workshops in Berlin
3. Online webinar on evaluation methods
4. International symposium in Tokyo

However, the price is around B650, while OP’s model is 5800X. On AM4 boards B550/X570 only a handful of high-end units support three slots. But you can fit one in a PCIe adapter placed in a four-lane PCIe slot, which is what I did.
