We should start by removing the software. It could still be related to the GPU or a compatibility issue between the GPU and the system. Checking the software is simpler. At least the GPU still has warranty coverage. Or is that no longer valid?
Thanks a lot for the suggestion. It worked well for about an hour so far—no crashes yet, though I didn’t want to risk it. I’ll have to turn it off early since I couldn’t keep it running continuously. My plan is to restart it later today after work to really push the GPU as much as possible. The crashes used to come on suddenly; sometimes I’d play games for 10 minutes and then it would stop, other times I’d play for an hour or more without a crash at all. It feels like they were random before now. I’m not ready to jump in just yet, but things look really promising!
It was only a matter of time before things went back to normal. If not for that short 'benchmark,' I’d still be stuck here. But during that hour in Heaven, no crashes occurred, and I’ll be back home this weekend. I’m hoping it stays running long enough—just a little while more. Thanks for the encouragement!
Update your motherboard's BIOS to the newest version. Install the latest AMD chipset drivers from the provided link. Run 3DMark tests using Firestrike and Timespy benchmarks. Share your results so we can compare performance with other systems. This will help us confirm if your setup is functioning properly.
I spent three intense hours trying, taking breaks and restarting repeatedly, finally managing to access my BIOS. It was a long process, but we got through it together. For a brief time, everything felt uncertain, but everything is back in order now. It turned out the system needed an update—specifically, I also upgraded all the latest AMD chipsets, which likely hadn’t been updated since I bought the PC in 2020.
