The system has been experiencing random shutdowns followed by immediate restarts. These incidents typically occur within 10-15 minutes after booting, and also happened twice during a DSKCHK run. Despite troubleshooting—changing RAM slots, updating BIOS/CHKDSK, ensuring cables are secure—I still see repeated "spam" entries in the logs linked to these crashes. I’m unsure what causes this since the error appears as "Unknown" and no specific details are available. A clean Windows installation or testing a different power supply might help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The detailed section of the crash report outlines the specific circumstances, causes, and findings related to the incident.

Are you referring to the information in the reports or the crash log? I only see a generic shutdown error, not specific details. The WHEA message indicates a restart and reboot without BSOD, so no DMP file was created. I’ve flashed back to the BIOS used when I first got the board, which I’ve done for many years. I only updated the BIOS after installing a new TridentZ Neo memory kit. I’m trying to rule out the Neo and BIOS as the cause.

This situation involves a corrected event, so detailed information is limited. Decoding raw data shows the CPU logging an error fix attempt, which doesn't necessarily indicate a CPU fault—it's part of WHEA operations. If BSODs occur without dump files, storage issues are likely. Are you also experiencing WHEA-related BSODs? Let me know so we can adjust the registry settings for better display. Other factors include encrypted storage (e.g., BitLocker), which blocks access to encrypted drives during dump creation. If your drive is full, the system may dump everything into memory and save it as a dump file on startup. This can require extra space equal to your RAM plus 3-5GB. The page file size might be insufficient if it's set manually or if the drive lacks enough free space. Page file location matters—check Disk Management for partitions labeled "page file." If the page file appears on an unexpected drive or multiple drives, relocate it.

I'm not experiencing a BSOD either. The computer just shuts down and restarts without any warning or blue screen. Probably related to storage—though I ran some benchmarks and tools, everything looks normal. My drive is about half full, and I haven't touched the page file yet. I went back to the BIOS version that came with the motherboard and installed Ballistix memory instead of the 32GB kit from TridentZ Neo. I also updated the BIOS after installing the new RAM, so it might be either one.

Hvilke hver strømkabel er i dit motherboard, men det er klar at det er passende. Dette kan kun hjælpe dig til å vernele din bios og å oppdragge windos igen.

I notice the system is running at 2432mb. I inspected all cables this morning and everything fits properly. I updated my BIOS to the one I’ve used for years before updates began. Probably if that doesn’t work, I’ll test another power supply and install a fresh OS. No worries. It might still be the disk issue, but the strange behavior is that the PC keeps shutting off and restarting after I leave and come back. A stress test plus GPU check can run for hours without issues. The random shutdowns could also suggest a PSU problem, which I’ll likely try next. I’ll swap the PSU with my media PC.

I switched the board to the BIOS version included (7C02v30) to test it. If it doesn’t work, I’ll try another PSU. The newer BIOS versions improved clock speed and boot times, but if the system crashes, it won’t be helpful.
