my pc has been struggling lately. games run without frame drops or lag, but after resetting it I can’t play for more than 20 minutes. every time I start a game, it restarts and reports an ASUS power surge warning even though my system is only using 50/150. this problem affects me and some friends too. i contacted Windows support, they updated the drivers but it doesn’t help. it would really help if someone could check what’s causing this issue.

To assist you better, we need your precise PC specifications and the specific games you're running. A faulty power surge might indicate an issue with your wiring or connection.

CPU Intel® Core™ i7-3770K at 3.50GHz paired with a GeForce 980ti graphics card on a suitable motherboard. RAM is 16 GB, and everything is functioning properly in FiveM Battlefield 4 and RL. Performance remains optimal, with both CPU and GPU operating at peak levels, staying below 50% and 40% respectively. Updated October 30, 2022 by ceeza (games not included).

It seems the graphics card might be becoming outdated. It’s likely to deteriorate further if this trend continues.

It could be that I handle games like RL MC and Fortnite just well, it's simply more about the tougher titles.
