I can only observe it through the lagging mouse cursor, which is more noticeable in video games. The videos don’t seem affected at all. This issue started suddenly and I’m unsure exactly when it began. I’ve tried everything possible—updating drivers, unplugging and plugging back in, reinstalling or removing the software. Nothing works. Now I’m using a fresh Windows 11 installation and it still happens, so I guess I’m SOL. It was recommended I try this first. The dxdiag site won’t let me paste a log into this post.

Download and execute HWiNFO64 with sensors only while gaming. Observe when you encounter significant lag (at least 15 minutes) to monitor your GPU and CPU maximum temperatures. This pattern suggests some form of throttling. What is the temperature in your room? Are you located in Australia during summer time?

Well observe, this occurs regularly whether you're playing or not. Playing doesn't actually improve or harm the situation. I'm on central North American time. Temperatures stay within normal limits according to HWMonitor.

Please list the hardware components.
CPU usage after loading and waiting a few minutes remains stable.
Keep Task Manager open throughout the process without turning any other applications on or off.

CPU model is AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
Motherboard: ASUSTeK X570-PLUS (Wi-Fi)
RAM capacity: 32 gigabytes
Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 6600
CPU activity remains normal, typically 1% to 5%, occasionally reaching up to 2%.

What is your power source? I’m a bit puzzled because you mentioned cursor issues but said the video works. Does this mean that while games load smoothly, the aim still lags when you move the mouse? Are you using a wireless mouse and how far is it from the PC?

I understand my PSU is likely the oldest component in this PC, though I don't know the exact brand or model. It functions well enough, and games perform just as they should when there are no other issues, although the system occasionally freezes briefly—about a quarter of a second every few seconds. My mouse uses Bluetooth, and I've tested it both plugged in and unplugged, but the problem persists. I'm not sure if connecting it again resolves the issue. I'm close to my PC, and the mouse is just a short distance away.
