When the card is brand new, you don’t need to refresh the firmware or BIOS.

BIOS can sometimes get damaged or become corrupted, though this is uncommon. If it happens, you can easily reset it to a fresh state. Since you already know the original BIOS, simply set the appropriate flag to replace it. Be cautious—this process might permanently erase your card if done incorrectly. Don’t proceed if you’re unsure; it’s not my device and I’m warning you to avoid risks you’re not ready for.
