Hey there, I'm trying to figure this out. After swapping out my old graphics card, I accidentally damaged some pins on the cooler. I decided to use the built-in video from my motherboard (ASRock B450 Pro4). When I tried to start the PC, it kept beeping five times and didn't boot. Looking into it, I found the 5-beep code is linked to the CPU. Even though it didn’t seem connected, I removed the CPU, cleaned it up, reinserted it, and even changed the BIOS battery and RAM placement. Still nothing works. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Your processor requires a device to upload a picture. It lacks a native GPU.
The motherboard video outputs appear when paired with an APU, which combines a CPU and built-in graphics. Only certain Ryzen models utilize an integrated graphics unit (basic versions)
No GPU or APU available – no image will appear, that’s normal lol.

Intel processors in the latest generation feature an F indicating they lack an integrated GPU (built-in graphics with the CPU). For instance, the i5-9400F can show graphics, but the F version cannot and would likely be cheaper to buy because it uses fewer components. On the other hand, AMD uses a G, such as the Ryzen 3 3200G, which confirms there is an integrated GPU for video processing inside the CPU.
