They operate on a 64-bit platform. Their processors are simply upgraded 64-bit AMD Bobcat units found in each machine. The instruction set supports both x64 and x32-64 modes. Neither device uses a 32-bit architecture; while the cores can run x86 code, the systems themselves and their OS are built for 64 bits.

Are you sure about this? x64 refers to using 64-bit extensions in the instruction set, not just a processor type. X-86 doesn’t imply a 32-bit system by default.
