Debug LED illuminates a strong red for the CPU (per manual). RAM LED indicates memory training but remains inactive. Fans operate but display stays dark. After replacing motherboard and purchasing a new CPU (9700X), the PC still fails to boot. I’ve tested various monitors, cables, GPUs, and cooling solutions; nothing resolves the issue. Over seven months of operation, occasional black screens and reboots have occurred. Despite standard fixes—RMAing the board, swapping components, checking cables—I remain stuck. My current build is the 4th PC I’ve assembled, the only one that crashes unpredictably. I haven’t altered anything beyond typical steps for older systems. Please help—I’m at a loss and need guidance urgently.

No, I haven't checked the BIOS yet. Could you confirm if it's been updated?

The final attempt is the software update; I’m pretty confident it could resolve your problem.

I'm excited about trying it! I'm puzzled by the initial success and later failure after half a year. Also, how will I refresh the bios if it doesn't go live? The BIOS flashback feature seems to handle this well. I'll give it a shot and follow up soon with an update on the outcome. Thanks!

The BIOS update was finished using the flashback technique. I strictly followed each step... but nothing happened. The screen went black with a steady red glow from the CPU indicator and the RAM light showing memory training. What should we do next? I don’t think two different CPUs are the problem. The 7700X stopped working after six months, while the 9700X I bought just two weeks ago is already dead. On the motherboard, I sent it back via RMA. They said a replacement was sent, but the box was old and the anti-static bag was brand new. It seems they probably gave me a fresh board. I’ll verify the serial numbers. Update: I checked the serial numbers. There’s a new sticker on the box, and apparently there’s no serial number on the board itself, so I’m assuming it’s a new unit. This makes it highly unlikely that the board or the CPU is faulty—though not impossible. Another suggestion is to replace the PSU with the old one and see if that resolves the issue. Before removing it, I’ll re-plug all cables and then reinstall the old PSU. Also, I’m clearing the CMOS, trying again, and if that fails, I’ll reapply the BIOS update. I’ll be back soon...

We attempted to reset the CMOS but it didn’t work. I also tried using only one RAM stick in slot 1, checking both sticks—still no success. Next steps: update the BIOS, rewire all cables to the PSU, replace the PSU, and consider a new motherboard. With less than ten days until the CPU needs to be returned, time is running out.

Remaining tasks: refresh the BIOS, rewire all connections to the PSU, replace the PSU with another unit, test the 7700X instead of the 9700X, purchase a new motherboard and attempt installation. After removing the old PSU and rewiring everything, nothing worked. Next step is updating the BIOS.

Preparing a dedicated testing area is now in progress. A basic on-off switch or cable for the motherboard is being developed. The motherboard will be removed from the case for upcoming evaluations. I'll keep working after today's shift. Next steps: - Update BIOS - Test 7700X instead of 9700X - Replace PSU with another unit - Purchase a new motherboard and test it

Run the system using just one stick of RAM in slot A2. GPU OUT, iGPU IN, SSD OUT. Do not interrupt it even without a display. Wait 10 minutes, then shut it down and attempt to boot BIOS again—some boards require a second cycle for memory training. The first start will be slower. If unsuccessful, update the BIOS and try once more.
