I recently purchased new parts from Amazon. I bought a Ryzen 7 5800X with an ASRock 750W 80 Plus Gold and an RTX 4070 OC. Before the upgrade, my specs were a 3060OC, a Ryzen 5 2600X, and a 550W 80 Plus. I’m not new to building PCs; I had no issues at first. After a day or two, I lost track of time. The issue started when I powered on the PC—both monitors were off, keyboard and mouse lights weren’t working. The PC was on but didn’t respond. I tried reseating the HDMI and DisplayPort connections, but nothing worked. Only after restarting by pressing a button did everything function properly. It’s strange because the PC usually runs well, especially during high temperatures while gaming (NXTX510). I ran a long gaming session on Cyberpunk Max with ray tracing and path tracing stable. I’m a bit confused about what to do next. One thing I need to do is install the latest drivers, maybe that will help. What’s odd is this problem doesn’t happen every time I turn it on. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I reset the PC and it turns on fine, other times it just powers up without issues. Hope this is just a loose connection or driver problem. I tried to explain my situation clearly. Thanks!

The 550W power supply seems insufficient for the equipment. It might still work, but it’s not advised. Always verify connections before purchasing a PSU. Aim for at least 750W for reliability.

You noticed a big jump in performance—from 550W to 750W after upgrading components. The change came from replacing the processor, GPU, and power supply, which improved efficiency and output.
