One morning I powered on my PC and pressed the power button, but it didn’t respond. I ran through several checks—switched power supplies, tested the PSU with a paper clip, tried another socket, reinserted the CPU, and adjusted the RAM. Eventually, everything came out of the case except the motherboard. Hours later it started, but one RAM stick was dead. I replaced it thinking it might have failed during the adjustments, but it worked fine. Seven years later, four days ago the machine still wouldn’t boot. The motherboard’s RGB stays on, and USB devices get power, yet nothing happens when I press the power button. I’ve reset the CMOS, swapped out different USB ports, and even used the old RAM that I’m certain was functional. Still nothing. What should I do next? Should I consider giving up on the motherboard?
You're getting a GPU boot prompt, but it seems your monitor isn't powered on.
