Reported by the processor; source: machine check exception. Error type: Cache Hierarchy. Processor APIC ID: 1. Detected in event viewer after crash.

I discovered my answer using a YT video. I had to change the PCIE settings in BIOS for that port from auto detect to PCI Gen 3 manually. The card works with Gen 4, but my motherboard could only support Gen 3.
