My computer freezes entirely and requires a restart via the power button. This typically occurs during gameplay with 3D graphics for around five minutes, although it can also happen while not playing or immediately after exiting a game—though that is uncommon. After restarting, the system may fail to boot until the Ethernet cable is unplugged.

Hardware details: AMD Ryzen 5 3600, MSI B450 Tomahawk Max motherboard, Kingston HyperX KHX3200C16D4/8GX x2 RAM, KINGSTON SA400S37240G SSD, TOSHIBA HDWD110 HDD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU, GameMax Starlight FRGB chassis, be quiet! Straight Power 11 650W PSU, ASUS TUF Gaming VG259Q monitor, Windows 11 Pro OS, BIOS version 7C02v3I.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Are you experiencing freezing or lock-up issues on your PC? Try disconnecting all storage drives except the operating system. What temperatures do you observe during these lock-ups? How recent is your power supply unit in this build?

Checking your motherboard's support page reveals two additional BIOS versions that need updating. After confirming the BIOS flash was successful, clear the CMOS.

Occasionally, after a restart, the system won't boot until you unplug the Ethernet cable. Do you notice any slight tingling when touching the metal part of your case and your feet touch a tiled floor?
