PC crashing
My computer has been unstable over the last few days, beginning with occasional crashes but progressing to persistent blue screens. Now it barely starts up and only briefly reaches the login screen before crashing again. I've attempted various troubleshooting steps and managed to boot into Windows Safe Mode. It's unclear whether the problem stems from hardware or software since it appears to run in Safe Mode. The error codes I've gathered so far include: Unexpected kernel mode trap error, Page fault in non paged area, Kmode exception not handled, and Iqrl not less or equal.
It operated in safe mode for two hours before shutting down. I assembled it over a year ago and it functioned well, mostly without blue screen issues. Components: Gigabyte GTX 1600 OC, AMD Ryzen 7 3700 X, Gskill TridentZ 16 GB MSI b550, Pro WD Blue SN550 NVMe SSD, Corsair tx650m.
When the device displays a blue screen, it’s possible to retrieve the stop code to identify the problem.
Enter safe mode with networking and save the dump files as specified in the BSOD posting thread.
The system is now functioning properly after the swap. It’s unclear exactly what caused the reset, but I’m relieved it’s working now. Appreciate your assistance!
