Hey there,
This is my very first Forum message, please let me know if I'm doing something wrong!
I built my PC three months ago, but it still doesn't feel like "he is THE THING."
When playing games or watching movies on D+ (Opera GX Browser), it crashes without any obvious issues like a blue screen. The PC freezes while loading games, crashes during gameplay, and isn’t really affected. Everything else works fine—no stuttering, low frame rates, or overheating. The CPU seems to stay under 60°C.
The GPU is constantly using over 90% of its capacity as it runs.
Sometimes the YouTube video or movie on the second screen "stutters," like it isn’t getting enough processing power. I tried capping both screens at 144Hz, but that didn’t help much.
I’m really frustrated because everything looks normal in Windows 11 Pro and drivers are up to date.
My rig specs:
- Motherboard: Tuf Gaming 870x Plus WIFI
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC Windforce 16GB
- CPU: Ryzen 7 9800x3d
- RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 64GB (6600)
- SSD: Samsung 990 Pro NVMe M.2 (2x 2TB)
- CPU cooler: Corsair iCUE Link Titan 360 RX LCD (LCD set to CPU temp and GPU usage)
- Fans: 10x Corsair Link RX 120
- Monitors: Main - LG 3440x1440 G-Sync (capped at 144Hz), Second - AOC 1920x1080 144Hz
In BIOS and the NVIDIA app, everything appears correct. I double-checked the wiring too.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Ram: Corsair Dominator Platinum 64GB (6600)
Do you have a link for the RAM kit you used?
SSD: Samsung 990 Pro NVMe M.2 (2x 2TB)
Did both drives start up on the board during OS installation?
You didn’t mention the make and model of your power supply unit.
In BIOS and NVIDIA App everything appears correctly, I’ve double-checked the wires too.
What BIOS version are you running for your motherboard?
For your Nvidia app, use DDU to remove all GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, Nvidia) in Safe Mode, then install the latest driver from Nvidia’s support site via an elevated command—Right click installer > Run as Administrator.
