Keep getting the software installed on your PC each time you open Chrome. Ran Norton AV and a CMD scan, but no antivirus detected. Disc usage hit 100% in Task Manager, yet Chrome crashed when closing apps. Is this related to Chrome or another issue? Tried booting with both internal and external drives, checked S.M.A.R.T status, but the problem persists. No overclocking, 8GB RAM, Ryzen 5 1400 MSS B350, Corsair 550VS Z9 Plus case.

Run CMD with admin privileges, execute a scan, then type chkdsk /f/r to fix issues, press enter to restart and continue.

Sure, I'll give it a shot. If it doesn't work, just let me know.

Restart your computer in clean mode and then review EventViewer for any conflicting .dll files. Follow step 3 or 8 from the referenced guide: https://www.techsupportall.com/windows-e...d-working/
