PC continues to reboot after setting up the new GPU, previous model also causes the issue
I upgraded my GPU from 1050ti to 2060 Super. The power supply is 550w 80+ gold, and people confirmed it should work. I didn’t install the new card right away; I booted the PC first and everything functioned normally. After installing, issues appeared. I reset the BIOS by removing the battery for some time, reinserted RAM, reconnected the PSU, and took out the boot drive. Even then, the problem persisted. Both GPUs had fans running when I powered them on. I haven’t tried reseating the CPU or applying thermal paste yet. If that fails, the motherboard or PSU might be faulty. Possible fixes include checking connections, testing with a different power supply, or replacing components.
