My connection speed to the game servers used to be around 60, now it's 160—though that’s not ideal. I think it might be related to my sister visiting and her laptop using some bandwidth, which affected my higher ping. I checked using a website (https://pingtestlive.com/black-desert-online). On my phone it’s 60, which is normal, but on my PC it’s 160, which is higher than usual in all games, including CS:GO and Valorant where ping is shown in-game. Both my PC and phone are connected to the same router. My PC has both Ethernet and Wi-Fi; I tried both and still got 160. On the PC side, Ookla tests showed speeds of 25-60 Mbps download and 20-35 Mbps upload, which is typical, and latency around 30 ms. I’ve never really checked these numbers before, so I’m unsure if they’re acceptable. My home has LTE with a 200GB cap, and the twisted pair internet is slow. There’s still about 50 GB of fast internet left (fiber was just installed last week). So far I’ve tried resetting the router, performing network resets in Windows settings, changing DNS via Google, setting a static IP, updating drivers, running malware scans with Windows Defender, using CMD commands like flushdns and renew, and checking latency from Command Prompt. My ASUS Aura CRATE is running, and I’ve downloaded the latest drivers. The system update was recent, and I haven’t installed anything new in a while.
