I really believe MGR revenge is quite exceptional in its own way. It blends the typical elements of the Metal Gear series with a lot of 'randomness' into one experience. In the main game, it often felt odd that suddenly characters appeared that seemed like they were vampires or something similar. With MGR, those strange touches are fully developed and appreciated, making it an enjoyable adventure for me. I enjoy this kind of quirky or exaggerated style, but it usually didn’t fit in the more realistic tone of the game. I’m really happy I got it on sale this summer.
