Hey everyone,
I’m planning to assemble my own PC for the first time and need some guidance on certain components. I’ll be using my existing GPU (RX 6600), which is outdated and not ideal for this build. I intend to upgrade it later, so I won’t include it right now.

MOTHERBOARD: MSI B650 Gaming Plus WiFi ATX
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100 RGB or Corsair H100x (same price?)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 32GB at 6000MHz
PSU: Corsair RM850x 80 PLUS Gold
STORAGE: Need advice on the best option, preferably a 2TB M2 SSD
CASE: Corsair iCUE 4000X RGB
REAR FAN: Corsair iCUE SP120 (same as case and AIO)

Any tips to improve this setup, whether it’s cheaper or more expensive, don’t worry. Thanks!

On the aio you have RGB lighting, while the other does not. I don’t prefer using an aio cooler when a decent air cooler would suffice. Your setup is perfect for air cooling and offers superior value at a lower price without compromising performance:

For the M.2 slot, choose any of the Samsung PCIe options. You might pay slightly more for better quality.
Don’t feel pressured to chase high benchmark scores; most tasks are random and you won’t notice a difference unless you compare.
You’d struggle to tell the difference without a proper test.

I would choose the non RGB cooler. The standard model seems to have superior build quality.
