my system has been operating smoothly since july 2023 after setup, but when I woke it from sleep there was no screen display. i attempted a hard reboot and restart, yet nothing changed. there are no fault indicators on the motherboard, the pc remains active like usual, and all components—case, cpu cooler, gpu fans—function properly. i've also tried various fixes: replacing the cmos battery, updating bios, reseating the gpu, using hdmi instead of mb, connecting via displayport, and switching to a different monitor. despite these efforts, the issue persists. my build details are: msi b550-vc with ryzen 5800x3d, gigabyte rtx 4070ti, 32gb g.skill 3600mhz ddr4 (all slots occupied), crucial p3 plus m.2 ssd (boot drive). i'm unsure what to do next.
Try another GPU model. The 5800X3D lacks built-in graphics, so the motherboard output won't function. Proceed to the next test using a different GPU, which is the only remaining choice after all others are exhausted. Alternatively, consider testing your 4070ti on another system if feasible.
