The system powers up with the fans operating and a display appearing, yet it fails to shut down past the "gigabyte" branding. After some time, the fans increase speed, then the display returns, but it never clears the logo again. Eventually, I reached an AMI screen until it locked into "entering setup." Resetting the ftpm didn’t help, and the screen disappeared entirely. The BIOS allowed entry, but nothing stopped the loop. Power remained steady during bootlooping, lights stayed on, and fans continued spinning. I attempted to reset CMOS, which showed a confusing "boot failure detected" message, yet the loop persisted regardless of settings. I also tried repositioning components and checking RAM placement, but everything was recognized by BIOS yet still refused to terminate. This build is brand new and represents my initial attempt.

When accessing the BIOS, did you verify the RAM's operating speed? The specified maximum memory speed for the Ryzen 5 7600X is "2x1R - DDR5-5200".

all systems are operating at 4800 MHz, but I haven't adjusted the CPU or RAM overclocks yet

I do not see an F2 BIOS update for this motherboard. Which revision is your motherboard?

It is version 1.0 and displays F2 in the bios, though I can't locate it online either. Maybe I should attempt a flash?

Confirm if you have the precise name of your motherboard correctly. You can verify using CPU-Z.

Attempt to refresh the BIOS using the B650M DS3H (rev. 1.0/1.1/1.2) support page. If it doesn't match your motherboard's BIOS version, the update will be declined.

Ensure your board is genuinely REV: 1.0, as it displays on the PCB and only includes the box sticker.
Adjust BIOS according to your board revision: rev. 1.0/1.1/1.2 differs from rev. 1.3.
Turn off XMP settings before proceeding with a flash.
Insert RAM in the DDR5_A2 or DDR5_B2 slots.
