PC booting issues

Hello everyone,
I’m reaching out because I’m facing a rather bothersome issue. Recently, after installing a new PC, I encountered a strange situation where the system fails to display any video output—neither through the built-in nor external connections. Additionally, there’s no power detected from the keyboard or any peripherals, though the case power and GPU RGB indicators remain active, along with the fans. When this occurs, turning off and then on the PC allows it to boot normally, but no debug lights appear.

I haven’t been able to consistently reproduce this problem, and its occurrence varies. To try resolving it, I’ve attempted several fixes: reallocating RAM, running memtest, adjusting CPU settings, checking thermal paste, resetting BIOS, reinstalling the operating system, and even swapping the GPU with my previous model. I’ve also contacted MSI support, but they haven’t provided much useful guidance.

For context, I only have one CPU connector connected, as my PSU supports only a single unit (they confirmed it would be fine), and the RAM is running at the default 4800MHz. Setting up AMD EXPO has caused booting to take about five minutes, which seems to be an existing issue. My main concern right now is related to potential display problems rather than the EXPO feature.

Here are my specifications:
- CPU: Ryzen 7600X
- Motherboard: MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI (latest BIOS)
- GPU: Zotac 4070
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x16GB, 6000MHz, AMD optimized
- Drive: 1TB NVMe Kingston
- PSU: Corsair HX750
- OS: Windows 10

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

PSU: Corsair hx750
How recent is your PSU? You might also want to know that if your PSU doesn't have the correct connectors for all your hardware in your build, it could mean you have the wrong PSU or the incorrect components for it.
Motherboard: MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI (latest BIOS version)
Have you reset the CMOS after flashing the BIOS following the build setup?

I observed the PSU before choosing the parts, so I reached out to MSI who advised that unless I intended to overclock it would be acceptable, just installing one of them.

On the back of the PSU there is a single/multiple switch test in both positions to check for differences.

Reverting the system settings isn't identical to resetting the CMOS storage.

I didn't realize they were different. I looked at the manual and cleared the CMOS actually.
