This problem reappeared after swapping in a defective PSU, which was leading to my PC displaying black screens and causing the GPU fans to run at full speed. I had to manually restart the system to bring it back online. Once the screen goes dark, I can still hear in-game audio and use voice chat. This issue frequently occurs in certain games: Deadlock, The Finals, and occasionally in Battlefield 1 and PUBG. It stopped crashing in BF1 and PUBG when I limited the FPS to 120. I've tried running MSI Kombustor and Furmark for extended periods without success. After two hours of Furmark, everything functioned normally. The GPU temperatures reached a maximum of 76°C. I also ran DDU, but the problem continued.

PC specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
- MBO: MSI B450m Pro vdh max
- GPU: Inno 3D RX 2060
- RAM: 8 GB x2 DDR4 3200 MHz
- SSD1: XPG 512 GB NVMe M.2
- SSD2: 240 GB Crucial SATA
- PSU: Cooler Master MWE 650 Bronze
- Monitor: Acer Nitro VG240Y 1080p 180Hz
- Connected via HDMI cable

I don’t believe the GPU is the cause here, and my operating system often becomes unstable. I have to run the System File Checker (sfc /scannow) monthly to repair corrupted files. Any additional questions or assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

When I had the bad PSU, games would freeze after just a few minutes, and even F1 runs last for over two hours without issues. Do you think it could be the power supply?

furmark is considered 'light' for the GPU. Try using Unigine Heaven Benchmark at the highest resolution your card and monitor provide. unigine

Here it is. It's been 10 minutes with no issues. I also verified the PSU Cultist list prior to purchasing the PSU; it was within the safe range.

When purchasing power supplies, many individuals fall into the same error, opting for the most affordable option. Your card supports 180-190 TDP and needs a minimum of 500 watts, so you end up with another 550 watts or more, but it must be at least gold rated.
