I need help. My computer has a b550m aorus elite with an r5 5600 processor. Every time I try to update the BIOS, my PC restarts and shows a black screen. To fix this, I had to remove the CMOS chip until the display came back. I have tried all different BIOS versions already.

So, which BIOS version do you have right now? What BIOS version are you hoping to upgrade to? And what board number do you have for your computer's main chip?

My board has a very old version called 1.3. My software is way too old, specifically the FFa build. Even though I tried versions like Fe and FfC, nothing worked at all.
