Hello,
Since I acquired my PC over a year ago, it has been freezing for 3 to 5 seconds a couple of times after startup—either when logging in or opening Discord. It’s been happening since the very first day, and I didn’t give it much thought until recently. I’m trying to figure out possible causes and solutions. I’ve reinstalled Windows several times, and my SSD appears to be in good condition at around 96% health.

I acquired my PC over a year ago. When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's standard to provide detailed system specifications. Please list the details as follows: CPU, CPU cooler, Motherboard, RAM, SSD/HDD, GPU, PSU, Chassis, OS, Monitor, along with the age of the PSU and the current BIOS version for your motherboard. I have reinstalled Windows multiple times. Where did you obtain the installer for your operating system? Did you recreate a bootable USB to prevent any issues?

The specifications look good, and there are no pending BIOS updates at this moment. Check Crucial's Storage Executive to confirm if your SSD needs a firmware upgrade.

Your power plan is set to balanced or performance mode.

Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/5ucsiZX2YLo?t=2287.

Attempt to rebuild your bootable USB installer for your operating system using an extra USB drive and Windows Media Creation Tools. Install the OS in offline mode. While connected to the internet, the OS will fetch drivers it believes are suitable for your system—this can sometimes cause issues.

After a successful installation, add all necessary drivers via an elevated command: right-click the installer, select Run as Administrator, and ensure you've backed up important data beforehand.

When attempting them, it may require effort to begin and link to the servers. Because delays might occur while drivers are activated, consider using a tool like this.
