Hi Guys.
My system began crashing after losing power. Only the CPU cooler is functioning, and it won't restart unless I shut down the PSU or unplug it from the grid.
I've tried with just one RAM stick, swapped my SSD for a new one, removed the GPU, and now use a fresh PSU.
The only components still untested are the MB and CPU.
Could it be related to the MB? Or possibly the fans?
It's happening randomly, often two or three times a day.
Temperatures are normal, but crashes occur even when I leave it alone.
Details:
CPU: R5 5600g
GPU: RTX 3060
MB: Asus Tuf B550M Plus
RAM: Corsair 2x 8gb
PSU: Corsair CV 550
Thanks

I haven't encountered a dead CPU in years, yet I've faced numerous faulty motherboards. Unless you're planning to replace both the motherboard and CPU, switching to a new motherboard seems more practical.

I'll attempt a different model, though I have to purchase another one.

Do you have an extra power source available? Power supply issues causing dips and spikes can seriously damage your PC. I'd test it out before using the main power or CPU. I haven't experienced a CPU breakdown in years. Motherboard problems are far more frequent.

I understand you're experiencing the same problem with a different PSU, and it's making it hard to focus on anything else except MB.

A used car will suffice for this task.
