I've faced this problem before. The process involves: PC freezes / Blue Screen attempts with sfc/scannow, reports repaired files but still 38 failed. Try restarting after Steam download completes. Revalidate files again, but it keeps missing. Go into recovery mode and run a disk check (following steps where possible). The warning says "Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically" in Windows 10/8/7/Vista - EaseUS. I attempted to reformat the drive and reinstall, redownloaded and set up the system. Check drivers, launch the game—maybe it works now or not at all. This has been my experience so far. I think there might be a hardware issue, though I'm not sure. I ran memory tests for over four hours using MemTest86plus, and stress tests on GPU and CPU didn't trigger crashes. Running both at once didn't cause problems. Recently, CoD and other tasks started working again, but it's been unstable since then. I updated the graphics drivers recently, hoping that would help. I'm struggling to find similar symptoms online and would appreciate a second opinion. Also, anyone know how to view which files failed validation in Steam? This could help track down the problem. My system specs are listed below: DxDiag.txt

Wow, there are quite a few unusual Bluescreen errors all pointing toward different issues. IRQ problems usually indicate a driver fault. A page fault outside the normal area suggests a filesystem issue in the Pagefile—this can occur due to a damaged filesystem, faulty drive, overclocked hardware, or bad RAM. With 64 GB of RAM... four sticks? It might help to try 32 GB with two sticks and see if performance improves. Also consider disabling XMP/Expo and using stock RAM speeds. Some Ryzen motherboards still struggle with four sticks, hinting at a faulty graphics card or problematic drivers. The 7xx Ryzen boards seem particularly prone to this. Those graphical glitches point toward a defective graphics card or corrupted drivers... you might want to check the IRQ not less or equal issue. As for recent news, the Samson S980 series had a known bug that caused rapid shutdowns. I’m not sure if that’s relevant, but it’s something worth noting. Files failing to validate also suggest faulty drives. Recently I experienced a Crucial P2 1 TB failure—can’t launch Genshin without crashes, constantly trying to fix game files. When the game crashed after minutes, the controller chip failed. I swapped in a P3 1 TB, but it had BIOS setup problems that caused the system to lock up immediately after startup. I had to reset the BIOS and gradually return to my previous settings until it froze again. Just try BIOS tweaks with minimal changes.

Consider using a hard drive diagnostic tool to identify any problems. Additionally, perform a graphics card stress test to observe potential issues.

It seems like you're asking about a potential issue with your device. If the system is very unstable, you might want to reset it by clearing the CMOS and then booting in safe mode to ensure any custom profiles are removed.

I thought it might be RAM or a graphics card because of the mixed errors and corrupted files. I’m leaning more toward RAM, though I’m not sure. To check further, I used Samsung Magician—it showed the drive is healthy, passed SMART tests, and firmware checks came back normal. No issues with the affected firmware either. I ran a memory test for over four hours without any problems. I’m planning to remove some RAM to see if that improves things.

Update: The problem seems to be the CPU being mis-seated. After my last update, I was having problems getting windows to install without missing system files that the windows recovery environment could not recover. (Note: this was with a fresh install after waiting for the windows updates to complete). I took it to a local computer repair shop, and they ran tests and swapped out components to try to find my issue. They were unable to replicate any game crashes. They at some point swapped out the CPU as a trouble shooting step and swapped it back to mine original one. I believe the act of reseating the CPU has resolved the issues I have been experiencing. The repair shop seems to think it was the RAM, and while I agree that the 4 sticks may have been causing some additional issues, that was not the cause of all my issues. In hen Thank you all for your help.
