So, lately when playing the new Spider-Man PC version, the game runs at more than 60 FPS or up to 144 FPS but it cuts off all audio for both the game and my computer. But right after I switch back to a browser source, the sound works fine again. I've already beaten the main story and this didn't happen before, now in the DLC it's just started happening out of nowhere. Has anyone else had this problem? I am on Windows 11 and I never had trouble with that before on Windows 10.
I found the cause of the problem. I have an XLR WaveLink and am using some VSTs for my mic. The NVIDIA Broadcast VST is making way too much use of my GPU. Turning off the VST and turning on the NVIDIA Broadcast app instead fixes the issue.
I found where the problem is coming from. I have an XLR mic and use some audio apps on my PC. The NVIDIA Broadcast app uses way too much power in my graphics card. When I turn off that app, it stops working as if nothing was broken.
