I'm facing some issues setting up cross-platform play with a friend on Xbox. They have an Epic Games account linked to their Xbox account, but after completing the friend request process, they can't view my name or send requests. Even though I'm friends with their Epic Games account, the controller icon that appears when hovering over a connected console account doesn't show up for them. I checked their account and confirmed it was connected, but I can't invite them to a party because of the tiered system, and they can't see my name.
PC gamers and Xbox fans can team up, while PS4 enthusiasts and Xbox players also enjoy playing together.
