I’ve experienced a few MBs that refused to let you start posting with all four slots filled right after resetting the BIOS. It mainly affected Z390 boards, though my Maximus XIII behaves similarly. Because the issue might stem from various factors, it’s best to install one RAM stick and connect the monitor to the motherboard until it works properly.

You need to reset the CMOS once more when RAM is very limited. The system will attempt to recall previous settings. Regretfully, I didn’t mention clearing it sooner.
