pc functioned properly yesterday but now it randomly powers on with fans spinning and keyboard responding but not the mouse. I’ve checked displays, cables, RAM, CPU, GPU, and even reset BIOS without success. Ram is 32GB, 3200MHz, using a 4x8GB Prime B450M-A chipset on an RYZEN 5 3600 with an RX 580 GPU. The PSU is a 600W Prestige unit and it’s 80+ rated. Any advice or should I take it to a repair shop?

Your keyboard receives power while the mouse does not. The random activation refers to the device turning on without manual input.

Yes, the keyboard will illuminate while the mouse remains inactive. It seems the issue occurs only when you attempt to power it on yourself, rather than randomly.

Replace every cable and part, then clear the BIOS once more. Consider using a modular power supply reset if needed.

Your mainboard lacks debug indicators. Do you have a speaker connected to it for testing codes?

During the reset process, did you attempt to start with just one RAM stick, or did you keep all four active?
