My custom pc keeps activating when devices connect to the power strip, when the air conditioner turns on (they’re close together possibly sharing a circuit), and occasionally when I’m near the PC—possibly due to cables from the back. The OS is Windows 11 and the motherboard is an AORUS B660. I haven’t made many changes in the BIOS except for XMP settings, but fixing it myself hasn’t worked so far. I’m having trouble finding someone with a similar issue.

Same problem on my Asus H61M-E board. Just need to swap the USB and PS/2 power jumper from 5VSB to 5V to cut power to the mouse and keyboard when it's asleep. It stops working properly now. Hope this helps.

Legacy board relies on jumpers for USB connections, while modern boards offer USB power through BIOS settings.
