I'm facing an issue with my PC. I've tried all troubleshooting steps, but the motherboard lights appear and everything works until I press power. The power supply seems fine, I've replaced the RAM, removed everything from the case, and tested without the GPU. It's still showing as an 8600k model with ASRock Z370 Extreme4 Corsair HX 1000, but it's not working. Anyone have any advice?

You're asking about the initial startup process. Does it send a signal, and are there any error codes or lights indicating problems during that phase?

Mobo lights are active yet the power switch remains inactive, causing no output on the screen. The fans spin without any signal, and the monitor fails to power up to the BIOS.

Do you hear any beeps? Is the PC speaker connected? Since there isn’t an error code shown, it looks like a similar issue was discussed in ASRock forums.

It seems the CPU is likely the issue. Removing the 8-pin connector from the motherboard causes it to start without problems, but reinserting the CPU cable makes it turn on and off immediately.

It could also be the PSU.

I've tested another power source but the issue remains.
