You're experiencing problems with PBO enhancement mode on your new PC, especially around MLK Day. It seems the issue might be related to a faulty CPU or BIOS configuration. Since you haven't updated the BIOS, consider checking the motherboard manual or contacting the manufacturer for guidance. Reviewing your part list from the link could help identify compatible components. Possible fixes include updating BIOS, testing with a different CPU, or consulting the manufacturer's support team.

Choosing one stick of RAM is a thoughtful decision. Be aware that this RAM might not perform well, so verify it carefully. Don't jump to conclusions. Use BlueScreenView to analyze those BSODs. Are there any recurring issues? Does the product come with a warranty? If available, returning it could prompt further investigation.

There is indeed a warranty that I think remains valid. Thank you for your assistance.

I stayed cost-conscious, which is why I opted for the stock cooler. Also, I chose Inland SSDs over Samsung for better performance.

Completely reasonable! I just want to note that adding a second stick will make the system feel more responsive, and if you decide to upgrade, I highly recommend a 2x16 6000 CL30 kit.
