I recall facing performance challenges with this game using a Phenom II x6 and a 970. It seemed to work fine on my dual-core i5 laptop, but the problem was resolved quickly. Hope remains!

It should operate it, especially in lower quality and reduced settings. You might want to reinstall the drivers. (Unclear about APUs, so unsure if drivers are needed)
