You have a child domain with administrator privileges. Every action triggers prompts for admin credentials. Opening Task Manager still requires entering the admin account. All DC servers run Windows 2012 Standard.

Is the child domain admin lacking local admin rights on those systems? Ensure the account joins the local admin group or is included in the parent domain admin group.

For clarity, it appears you're attempting to perform administrative actions on devices within the child domain using the child domain admin credentials. This should function properly once the system joins and restarts.

Attempted several times. Excluded the laptop from the domain and updated.

1. Add the domain
2. Reboot the system
3. Log in using local admin credentials
4. Include the domain admin in the local admin group
5. Re-login as domain administrator

Once completed, the device should operate smoothly with admin privileges. Missing admin rights on a client post-joining is common. If the domain admin isn't detected, there may be an authentication problem.
