Hey everyone, the Fall LAN Party wrapped up this past Saturday and it was really fun, even though we had fewer people than usual. I’m part of the LAN community and we’ve been doing these gatherings every season since 2014. It’s becoming harder to keep up with them now—what’s the point? Any cool stories? And if anyone wants to catch a glimpse, I’ve got some LAN Party videos ready. The latest one is our Summer 2017 LAN Party, and there’s another from a few seasons ago that my friend recorded for last summer’s event—it was quite enjoyable to watch.

I'm starting this journey for the first time, probably around January 2018. I was looking for some guidance and saw a post a few days back on the forum, but unfortunately no responses came through. Could you share your experiences?

Unfortunately, I don’t have the time for that right now.

Obtain a switch! Not merely the one from your ISP or those bundled router, AP, and switch products, but a comprehensive 16-24 port switch available for all users.

I'm in a student room next to another, and we usually have civ lan parties when everyone is available.

I used to participate but now only a few friends enjoy gaming, so it's not happening much anymore. ? The best times were during school every Wednesday when our IT teacher let us run the lab for StarCraft, usually with 2 or 3 matches using full teams in FFA or teams. That was my favorite time of my life.

Interesting! We probably revisited this topic in high school around 13-14 years ago during a computer repair class before lunch. We’d play Counter-Strike 1.5 and even had a few girls join in. @Morad__T Shared your thoughts in the thread.

I just love LAN parties, sadly they are very rare. Nothing like playing UT99 with friends in the same room.
