Partition reserved by system unavailable.
Hello, the partition in Windows has disappeared and I’m unsure why. This happened when trying to install updates, and it kept failing. I’ve searched online without success—have others faced this issue? If fixing it isn’t possible, should I reinstall Windows?
If the system still boots no problem, dont worry about it. The system reserved partition should never have been visible in the first place.
System locking the boot data prevents it from appearing initially, which also avoids interference with Windows updates. You might attempt to install the update manually to check if it fixes the issue. (Refer to the update catalog) https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Home.aspx
Another thread exists where we attempt to fix a Windows update issue using a cumulative update from December 2022. Perhaps you could try some steps to address the problem we previously talked about. First, I would attempt to reset the Windows Update settings: Cleaning up the SoftwareDistribution folder to resolve Windows Update issues (WinBuzzer). After that, repeat the Windows Update process and if it fails, examine the CBS.log file for guidance.
