I understand your suggestion is the most secure option, but I’ll continue using RAM for these reasons: 1. It performs better; 2. It reduces wear on my SSD; 3. Linus maintains the same configuration; 4. I haven’t encountered any problems so far. Thanks!

Hello! Today I discovered a new feature in the ImDisk program—dynamic memory allocation. In simpler terms, once you set a size for your RAM disk (like 8GB), the system won’t lock that entire amount of memory for itself. Only the space already used on the RAM disk will remain unavailable.
