I'm trying to assemble my PC and haven't found the system panel header. The cable is 3 inches long, but one end has a 2x5 pin connector missing four pins. I'm unsure how to connect it properly or if a different header is needed. I have a RogStrix B450 gaming motherboard, an NZXT case, and an EVGA 650W modular power supply. No one seems to know how to help, but I appreciate any advice!

It seems like a simple extension cord. You could connect the front panel cables straight to the board if possible. If not, you've identified the purpose of that cable correctly.

Does this mean you need a new cable for your motherboard? The system panel header you should check is the one that matches your Rog Strix B450 gaming 2 model. Since there are no other wires inside the PC and your power button wire isn’t connected, look for a compatible header that fits your board. Your issue seems to be missing the intended connector, so verify the correct header type before purchasing.

Additionally, the cable you mentioned has several labels—PLED+, PLED-, and two more compact 2-pin connectors that fit into the lower-right pin group on the motherboard. It appears this was the sole set of wires included.

Was dieser Kabel mit Ihrem Gehäuse oder Ihrer Motherboard geliefert? Welches NZXT-Gehäuse verwenden Sie? Es sollte Kabel vom vorderen I/O-Anschluss geben, das den entsprechenden Steckern auf Ihrer Motherboard entspricht.

The package arrived with its own label, and I was just trying to place it correctly. I mistakenly inserted the f_panel header where I normally put the pledge, power settings, and similar items.
