Your NVIDIA control panel isn't appearing in your hidden icons and isn't showing up in Task Manager either. You've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but nothing seems to work. When you search for it, it opens but disappears when you click the X. Normally it hides in the tray and runs quietly with NVIDIA Experience. You're using Windows 11—anyone have a solution?

Hello, If you don’t see NVIDIA Control Panel in the context menu or notification tray, open Control Panel, then navigate to NVIDIA Control Panel. Tap on it and move to the Desktop section. Choose Add Desktop context menu and enable Show Notification Tray icon.

Both of them are already set up. I discovered I can access the control panel by double-clicking the NVIDIA icon (the one shown in the image above). That way I can open it directly from there. Just to note, I’m not sure if the adjustments I made in the control panel remain active when I close the menu.

Yes, you can adjust the graphical options on the GPU through the control panel.

It focuses more on G-sync configurations. And when I need to apply particular adjustments to an app, like adding 3D options through program settings rather than global ones. I’m fine with it not appearing in my hidden menu. Still, I want to confirm those panel changes remain functional once the window closes.

Adjust the display settings to see the changes clearly, confirming functionality works as intended.

I attempted to configure specific settings for two different games (maximum 30 FPS). After closing the control panel, I restarted the games and they remained capped at 30 FPS. This suggests the system functions properly even when the app menu is hidden. I’ll assume it works as intended and proceed accordingly. Thanks for your time!

You managed to regain control effectively. It looks like your statement is helping things go smoothly. Enjoy the game!
