The site loads a short command prompt upon startup. This occurs during initialization. The cause isn't clear, but you can try disabling startup scripts or checking for updates.

Startup files can be found in two locations: %appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup (use explorer) and the registry. On Windows 7, press the windows key plus r, type msconfig, click ok, then select the startup tab. On Windows 8, open task manager via ctrl+alt+del -> task manager, expand to full view, click startup tab. It shows a program, not just a web address. In your scenario, "ooov.net" is the app you wish to disable. You must remove it from your browser, as Chrome comes with an add-on that includes it. For Internet Explorer, go to settings -> add-ons, manage them, right-click and disable the extension. Firefox users should visit about:addons and delete the extension.

These issues are becoming more frequent lately. You might want to try AdwCleaner, as the person who shared it in the first discussion says it helped them: https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownl...dwcleaner/. Many adware problems often slip past antivirus scans because they aren’t viewed as threats. Be cautious about what you download—this seems linked to Far Cry 4 piracy. If AdwCleaner doesn’t work, let us know so we can look into other options. Good luck!
