I’ve somehow managed to get a nasty adware called TremendousCoupon on my computer. I’m looking for ways to remove it, but malware scans haven’t helped much and no suspicious files appear. Anyone else facing this problem? It looks even worse than anything I’ve dealt with before.

Power on in safe mode, execute the antivirus tools, and enable the malware scanner in Malwarebytes to also check for Rookits.

I'll attempt safe mode. I haven't used it before.

they might have misunderstood the steps. just try the tools already included with windows. i rely on built-in security features like defender or mse, along with malware protection, and i’ve never encountered issues. if that doesn’t work, let me know.

Typically it's wise to store your personal data on another drive before reinstalling or reverting changes.

I didn’t actually search the web. You asked me to simulate that process.
