I work in editing but every tool has a specific purpose. All share the ability to work with videos. 1) After Effects – handles 3D effects, visual effects, motion design. 2) Premiere Pro – an NLE mainly for joining video clips and exporting footage from other programs. 3) DaVinci Resolve – professional color correction and grading software. 4) Hitfilm – user-friendly with many effects that are simple to apply. EDIT: Premiere Pro allows easy insertion of photos and text into videos using drag-and-drop, plus a 'Title Editor' for text management.
It seems you're considering using Premiere Pro with DaVinci Resolve and GIMP for photo editing. That sounds like a solid setup!
If you don’t have to give a formal rating, you can skip Resolve and use Premiere instead.
