Ensure you remove all display driver software for a complete refresh. (This is worth the time and effort.) Begin by using the Windows uninstall utility to delete the drivers. Then apply the provided uninstall tool to eliminate leftover files scattered on the hard drive. Next, run a registry repair program to fix corrupt or empty registry entries (e.g., http://download.cnet.com/topics/registry-cleaner). Finally, perform a fresh installation of the latest driver you downloaded—this should resolve any lingering issues. Afterward, the system will restart and the Windows interface may feel sluggish, but it should stabilize afterward.

Usually it functions well unless you remove the driver initially. However, if you switch vendors (like AMD to nVidia) or run into issues, you should do that. That’s all the information I’ve shared.

Setting up software for AMD, Nvidia or Intel graphics cards (If you own the newest model, your system likely isn’t built for gaming, probably)
