Gained 10 points with the ASUS B550-I Gaming Motherboard, updated Realtek drivers and software from Asus support site. Audio balance issue remains: left side around 10, right at 90. Tested various drivers from 2022 and 2023 without success. Any suggestions?
Confirming if it's your speakers or headphones—latest bios detected, driver booster may offer an updated Realtek version.
I checked my earbuds through the audio out on the motherboard and they worked fine in terms of left-right balance. After swapping the speakers back in, the balance stayed at 10/90 L/R, confirming it's not the speaker itself. When I connected the earbuds to the Left speaker (M-Audio AV32), the same issue appeared, suggesting a problem with the speaker circuitry rather than the cone or related parts.
I changed the red and white ends at the input to the speakers using the RCA Y cable, but the output remained unchanged. It seems there might be an internal problem with the speaker itself. I found the same issue with its 3.5MM output when testing earbuds plugged in that port. I'm sending a report to M-Audio for their advice. Honestly, I'm not very skilled with electronics, so a detailed circuit analysis may not help much here. Perhaps I'll reach out to someone nearby in Greater Vancouver who works with mini devices.
