Linux Lite is a good option I personally use, and it performs quite well.

After chatting with a friend, they advised me to stick with Ubuntu. If anything happens, I’ll update this post, but so far everything seems okay. ^^

On discussion boards, Mint addresses issues with Ubuntu. A helpful forum exists for Mint, allowing users to resolve or report problems by posting there.

For this scenario, Ubuntu is the best choice. It's widely used and you can easily adapt guides for both Ubuntu Desktop and Server without issues. Running Mint might still work, but it could be tricky to troubleshoot if it doesn't.

I've already experimented with Mint for my studies (I needed a dual boot), and the more I used it, the more I disliked it lmao. I'm in agreement with Maple here—Ubuntu Server isn't right for me because it's just commands. Plus, my knowledge is limited, but my server is powerful enough to run a graphical interface while still having plenty of resources for my own needs. So yes, I think Ubuntu is the best option. It's the most popular (or at least the most recognized) distribution, so there are lots of guides available. And at least for now, I didn't encounter any problems, which makes it seem like a good choice ^^
